SHD Composites is seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineer to support the development, optimization, and manufacture of advanced composite prepreg materials and high-performance resin systems. This role partners with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to improve products, processes, quality, and manufacturing performance.
What You’ll DoComposite materials, prepregs, thermoset resins, epoxy systems, polymer chemistry, material characterization, SPC, Lean/Six Sigma, aerospace quality systems, laboratory testing, or Six Sigma certification.
Work EnvironmentOffice, laboratory, and manufacturing environment; required PPE; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional travel to customers, suppliers, or SHD facilities.
